![]() ![]() “This is exactly what we need as we look to attract riders back to the system. "Once completed, the Harrison Station TOD will be emblematic of commitment to help transforming the areas around our stations into vibrant destinations,” said Metro-North Railroad President Catherine Rinaldi. The second phase of the project will include the construction of an additional 60 residential units, public open space, retail and commercial space, and additional surface parking to support prospective tenants. The first phase of the two-phase project included the construction of the garage and 83 apartments that wrap around the garage, as well as retail space and one of the two planned public plazas. The garage, which will be owned and operated by Metro-North, is the railroad’s first transit-oriented development (TOD) project. The garage is equipped with two elevators and two staircases - making it fully accessible in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act - and features an easy-to-reach ground level and station platforms, MTA officials said in a press release. Located steps away from the station's Connecticut-bound platform, the new garage increases parking availability at the station by more than 80%, providing 475 parking spots dedicated to Metro-North riders. I expect a refund for this scheduling disaster. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) recently opened a new 598-space commuter parking garage at Metro-North Railroad's station in Harrison, New York. Of note the greyhound office at this station was closed and there was no one I could talk to in person about this issue. Later he called someone and told me two bus had been combined, however I never received an email or any notification of this. He stated he believed the bus driver drove straight threw to Boston. He was unprofessional, raised his voice to me, and told me that most of the drivers for you company were new, didn’t know to stop in New Haven and “probably never stopped here”. ![]() Also the driver of bus 2090 was incredibly rude. ![]() I would like to make it clear that I left New Haven 2.5 hours later than my scheduled time. At 9:02pm the Bolt Bus number 2090 I believe arrived to New Haven, allowed me on the bus, and left New Haven as scheduled at 9:30pm. There was no bus to pick me up at New Haven between 8:40 and 9:00pm. They told me the bus was delayed by two hours, it would pick me up at new haven and head to Boston now at 9:00pm and that they had sent me an email. They told me they could not track the bus. I was unable to track the location of the bus online via greyhound or bolt. The bus did not arrive to New Haven to pick me up at 7:00pm. This bus trip was booked through greyhound on a Bolt Bus. I am requesting a refund for my trip from New Haven to Boston (South Station) on that was scheduled to depart New Haven at 7:00pm. Hopefully this might be helpful for future passengers! At Union Station there is a separate lot for Greyhound–BoltBus does not pick up in this lot, they still pick up at the curb outside. Your "BoltBus" may actually be a Greyhound bus (Greyhound owns BoltBus). The BoltBus app has a bus tracker (mine wasn't working but a fellow waiting passenger was able to use). ![]() My bus was scheduled to leave at 6:45 but it did not show up until 8:15. This route actually starts in NYC and New Haven is an intermediate stop between NYC & BOS, so departure time is not set in stone–it is dependent on NYC traffic. The bus picks up at the curb in front of the parking garage (when walking out of the terminal, it is to the right on Union Ave.) Some important things to know about this stop that they don't say on the BoltBus site or with your ticket, or on the phone with customer service (if you've used BoltBus before you may already know some of this): Writing this as there does not seem to be much existing information on this stop, and I'd hope to save others some of the confusion that I went through. Union Station is apparently a new stop for them. I recently used BoltBus for a trip from New Haven to Boston. ![]()
